The NRG Services team is made-up of 140+ specialists and skilled tradespeople, and we pride ourselves on having the right people for the job. 

Since our business commenced in 2012, we have actively sort-out skilled tradespeople with the technical skills that we need while also training and upskilling our team members to ensure we are at the forefront of the industry. 

Our specialisations range from urban infrastructure and street lighting, through to hospital ‘nurse call’ systems and data centre infrastructure, providing services to a diverse range of industry sectors. We’re confident in our people, so you can have confidence in a job well done.

Daniel Briskey

Managing Director

With over 22 years’ experience as a qualified electrician and business owner, Daniel has an in-depth understanding of the industry and practical application of delivering complex projects ranging in value from $200,000 to $40 million.

As General Manager, Dan oversees and provides support to the operational management; project support; HSEQ; and site teams. Dan also manages the development and implementation of NRG’s business plan, conversion of opportunities, and ensures projects are delivered successfully. 

Since it’s inception in 2012, NRG has gone from strength to strength under Dan’s management – starting as a commercial electrical business before growing and expanding to become a diversified service provider – offering HVAC-R, facility maintenance and building works services.

Gary Lancaster

Safety & Environmental Manager

With an expansive career in HSEQ, Gary’s experience spans over 40 years in the industry. As one of Toowoomba’s most experienced construction safety professionsals, Gary eagerly heads the NRG Services Safety & Environmental team with extensive knowledge of the systems and processes that conform to the relevant standards and legislative requirements of the sectors in which the team works within. Gary is committed to ensuring a safe and productive work environment for all NRG Services’ sites and frequently identifies opportunities within the company’s divisions to improve both safety management and culture.

Grant McMillan

Operations Manager - Building Services

Grant is responsible for managing and overseeing the Maintenance and Minor Works teams. With over 16 years of experience in the electrical industry, including 10 years of management positions, Grant has brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to his division. Grant plays a major role in utilizing his many years of experience to upskill and mentor his team members and the broader business in areas of estimating and tendering, project management and ensuring effective and efficient teamwork.

Tim O'Neill

Operations Manager - Corporate Services

With 23 years industry experience, Tim is a highly experienced manager of electrical teams, with extensive site experience, who brings a wealth of knowledge and practical skill to his role.  Tim’s focus is on KPI improvements, meeting client requirements, reinforcing a strong safety culture and seeking continuous business improvement for growth. 

Tim Burke

Operations Manager - Air-conditioning & Refrigeration

Tim possesses 14 years’ experience in the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry, with over seven years in managerial positions. He brings his practical experience in HVAC-R and indepth knowledge of the industry, to provide guidance and direction in terms of project management and estimating.  Tim also applies his experience to seek out alternative and often more efficient options to the benefit his clients.


Scott Eiser

Operations Manager - Electrical Projects

Scott is a certified Electrical Fitter Mechanic with more than 14 years’ experience in the maintenance and construction of commercial, URD, civil, industrial and mining projects including Hazardous Areas and High Voltage Networks. As the Operations Manager for the Electrical division, Scott is responsible for leading a team of capable project managers and electricians. He develops and implements designs, project timelines, project safety review and reporting including forecasts, and ensures operational support of those on his project sites.

Matt Lyons

Operations Manager - Electrical Projects

Matt takes responsibility for ensuring projects are completed in a timely manner while ensuring quality and compliance with specification and legislation. Matt develops and implements project programs, establishes and maintains project budgets, and provides operational support, to a team of dedicated project managers and supervisors. In addition to supervising sites and undertaking electrical and communications installation work of his own, Matt also engages in several other activities which include tendering, issuing quotes, the development and implementation of quality checklists and commissioning plans.
