We are seeking a suitably qualified Draftsman / Undergraduate Engineer to join our team to help us build excellence. In this exciting Toowoomba based position, your experience in Revit will play a vital role in the conversion of Engineering designs and shop drawings. With a wealth of knowledge already within NRG, you will be provided the opportunity to learn and develop your skills, with the intent being for NRG to develop your current skills to and produce an outstanding MEP draftsman.
Whilst you will be actively involved with Revit modelling, you will also be required to assist Engineers, for mechanical, electrical and hydraulic projects. We are seeking individuals that can contribute to the growth of our business through a commitment to high quality outcomes. Applicants that are self-motivated, reliable and have an open and honest approach to communication will be well regarded for this exciting opportunity.
Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Experience in Revit
- An understanding of either or all disciplines (electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic)
- Demonstrated experience in drafting
- Previous exposure to an Engineering background or an Engineering consultancy will be highly regarded
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to work autonomously, and cohesively in a team environment
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills with the ability to work within set time frames and meet deadlines
