Industrial Maintenance Electricians

With our current portfolio of works consistently expanding, NRG Services are seeking applications from experienced and qualified Industrial Maintenance Electricians to join our team. The role will include new installations and maintenance works across a variety of projects and sites, predominately industrial and manufacturing facilities. Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Minimum 3+ years post trade experience on industrial projects
  • Appropriate qualifications and licencing (Trade Certificate and QLD Electrical Licence)
  • Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas - Electrical
  • Open manual drivers licence
  • Experience in industrial fault-finding and breakdown repairs
  • Must have proven experience in both breakdown and preventative maintenance
  • High Voltage switching and cable jointing qualifications would be advantageous
  • PLC experience would be advantageous
  • Ability to work autonomously, and cohesively in a team environment
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills
  • Great customer service and communication skills

These opportunities are perfect for trade qualified candidates who are looking for career progression and have the knowledge to provide technical advice and direction. Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Appropriate qualification and licensing, with post trade experience;
  • Previous experience in the installation, service, maintenance and repairs of split systems, ducted systems, package type systems, VRV, VRF;
  • Previous Refrigeration experience in Commercial or Industrial industries would be advantageous,
  • Experience in diagnosing faults and breakdown repairs;

HVAC-R Mechanical Design Engineer

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for assistance in tendering, design, value management, drafting, quality assurance, commissioning and verification of mechanical and HVAC-R installations. Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Minimum 5+ years working as a Mechanical Design Engineer in the Building Services Sector;
  • RPEQ Certification preferred, but not essential;
  • Open Manual Drivers Licence;
  • Extensive experience in designing, redesigning and managing in house HVAC designs;
  • Experience in drafting using AutoCAD and Revit MEP;
  • Ensuring all mechanical HVAC engineering is delivered on time;
  • The ability to negotiate with external design agencies;
  • Expert knowledge of Australian Standards and BCA;
