This morning, Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull visited the construction site of the Pulse Data Centre – Australia’s first Tier III Uptime regional data centre, alongside Minister for Regional Development, Territories and Local Government, the Hon Dr John McVeigh.

Daniel Briskey, General Manager – NRG Services was on hand to give the Prime Minister a tour of the site, where he walked through the security office and data halls, stopping to speak to a number of NRG team members along the way.

Around 50 people were in attendance for the ministerial visit, including staff from NRG Services, Pulse Data Centre and FKG Group. A number of government officials, media representatives, police and guests from around the region also attended.

The NRG Electrical team has been responsible for the design, construction and commissioning of all the electrical and mechanical systems for the first stage of Pulse DC. Stage One of the Development is expected for completion at the end of March 2018.
