NRG Services were engaged to carry out the full design and construction of the electrical and mechanical works associated with the construction of a BP service station at Windsor (North Brisbane).
The electrical package of works included the full design and construct of the electrical installation in the BP shop. This work involved the installation of all general light and power equipment, security services (including a CCTV and duress system), a PA system and all kitchen equipment. It also included the install and commissioning of the exterior canopy and signage lighting, power and security services. The electricity (Energex) and communications (Telstra) supply connections were also planned and executed by NRG Services.
The NRG Services’ Air Conditioning and Refrigeration team also delivered a package of works that included the design and construct of the air conditioning, cold rooms, freezer rooms, refrigeration, Co2 alarm detection system and a noise attenuation system.
Prior to the commissioning of the site an isolation procedure (LOTO) was developed and implemented by NRG Services’ electrical team for all external site electrical services during site fuel import operations.
Changes to the design were required and managed by frequent communications with our client and the relevant design engineers. All works were completed in adherence to BP’s inspection, testing and PSSR procedures.
