The Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service (DDHHS) is responsible for providing public health services to a population of almost 300,000 people across a predominately rural area.

NRG Services were privileged to be engaged by DDHHS to complete the facility audits of 20 of their hospital facilities across the region for compliance to the Australian Standard 3003. This Standard specifies safety requirements for electrical installations in areas where it is intended that low-voltage medical electrical equipment will be used to treat a patient.

The team undertook the AS3003 testing and compliance reporting with minimal disruption to the hospital’s live operations and received extremely positive feedback from the client on their conduct throughout the audit, while also respecting the needs and privacy of hospital staff and patients.

Following the successful completion of phase one of the DDHHS Rural Facility Project, NRG Services have been engaged to complete the second phase which is for the rectification works.
