NRG Services were proud to work with BESIX Watpac to carry out the electrical works associated with the $116million redevelopment of the Roma Hospital.

Now officially opened by Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk and Minister for Health Yvette D’Arth, this critical facility for the region will aid in reducing wait times for patients.

The redeveloped Roma Hospital is a key part of the South West Hospital and Health Service’s vision to be a respected leader and partner organisation to improve and maintain the health and well-being of patients and staff in their community.

The hospital includes 18 single patient beds, including palliative care and mental health care, 2 x two bed patient rooms and two birth suites.

With extensive medical system requirements NRG Services completed the installation of electrical works for all patient areas, including operating theatres and wards as well as all electrical fit-outs for shared areas, including the reception, emergency, administration, pharmacy, cafe, allied services, storage and facilities.

Projects like this don’t come around too often in regional Queensland and it’s been an honour to be associated with.  We would like to congratulate all of the project teams associated with the redevelopment including our very own people who worked tirelessly to deliver this iconic facility in the Southwest.
